They said they had one type of tempura with cream cheese and spicy tuna but we never recieved a plate of it. We were excited to try it but it was so hard to bite into, we ended up putting it on the plate and unwrapping it to eat just the inside. One of the chefs came out and made a temaki in a rolling cart by our table. It was endless amounts of flavorless fish from beginning to end. With every plate we got we were hopefull it would get better but it didn't. The appetizer was good and the ceviche was great but the sushi was not good. "I have mixed feelings about this restaurant. The salad bar had me hooked too! Make sure you go with an appetite, because it's a non stop barrage of food. The food was amazing, delicious, and plenty of it! Loved the way they come to your table and adorn your plate with an abundance of various meat. Very friendly staff who makes you feel comfortable. "Nice relaxing atmosphere as soon as you walk in. Good costumer service, and very creative selection of sushi’s." We get to know them from Groupon, and it was super worth it. Please note that Black Sushi is sharing the same address and building with Black Fire Brazilian Steakhouse but the Japanese restaurant is by itself a separate restaurant and share no relation with the Brazilian Steakhouse." Various types of sauces and a special type of marinated salmon that took time to gather its flavor just in time for your tasting. "Black Sushi is underrated but this is a special place for those who appreciate a different kind of Japanese Fine Cuisine served as special tapas dishes, comprised of ceviches and various neatly presented bite size servings. I will give it another try in a few weeks and give another rev.
I spoke to the manager and he said he will give the feed back to the chefs. I hope that they work on the kitchen aspect of the restaurant because if they do they will knock out all the sushi places in Orlando.
I have mixed feelings about this restaurant.
